Writing articles from your dissertation or thesis

Writing articles from your dissertation or thesis

Course Description

This module provides strategies for writing articles from theses or dissertations for journal publication as well as give insights on reviewing. For young researchers, the pressure to publish is immense. To establish their credibility in the science community, it is imperative for doctoral as well as postdoctoral researchers to have at least a few publications to their name. Most new scholars find it daunting to write articles for publication and often find themselves struggling to find the best approaches for the Journals they aspire. Additionally, many of our young scholars will be asked to review at a certain time of their career and sit on the other side. Publishing and reviewing are two sides of the same coin, reviewing will improve your writing and vice versa.
