Gillian has over 15 years in purchasing and supply chain for Private Sector and 14 years for Government and 14 years in training and consulting assessing and 4 years in moderation. Experience includes Facilitating training in SCM and finance related subjects and assessing and moderating same. Inventory management, tender compilation, quotations, conditions of tender and contract, contract compilation and training, adjudication, supplier management, buyer training, workshops and presentations, policy and procedure manuals, procurement committee member, tender specification and tender evaluation committee member, assisting in drafting specifications and TOR’s for goods and services as well as assisting end users in identifying criteria and allocating points for functionality and contract administration, negotiations, liaison with legal practitioners, cost saving cost avoidance systems, appraisal of subordinates, investigating irregularities, reporting, conducting risk analysis and general business administration. Black Economic Empowerment issues such as drafting Preferential Procurement policies and procedures for Private Sector as well as Municipalities, implementation and training. Supplier data base management. Devising training material for various organisations in both public and private sectors.
