Prof. Edward Fekpe holds a PhD in transportation engineering with over 38 years of professional experience in transportation engineering practice, research, and education. He is also a certified project management professional (PMP). He is affiliated with many professional associations. Prof. Fekpe was a lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana; Department of Civil Engineering, University of Manitoba, Canada; and an Adjunct Professor in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Prof. Fekpe is currently an Associate Professor in the Business School of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) where he teaches courses in Supply Chain Management and Advanced Project Management to graduate students. He also supervises PhD, Master of Research and MBA student on a variety of Supply Chain Management topics. Prof. Fekpe has published over 80 technical papers in reputable refereed journals and conference proceedings on a wide range of topics. Prof. Fekpe authored numerous technical reports for a variety of clients including United States Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), National Academies of Sciences of USA, EU, USAID, and DANIDA among others. His publications have been cited in several policy papers, technical publications, and consultancy reports. Prof. Fekpe routinely reviews technical papers for several technical journals.

Established in 2019, the African Institute for Supply Chain Research (AISCR) provides supply chain research, education, outreach, and networking solutions for a better Africa.
