Welcome to the 1st AISCR Annual Conference

We are pleased to announce the 1st Annual AISCR Conference to be held at the University of Nairobi, Kenya from October 23-25, 2024. Following the successful summits organized by AISCR in collaboration with the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 2020 and 2021 with over 350 and 500 delegates who registered and participated in the events, there has been a call from AISCR members to organize annual conferences to promote excellence and advance the profession in the continent. This flagship conference is oriented towards industry and academic papers, featuring a comprehensive and high-quality program including paper presentations, talks from eminent keynote speakers, expert talks by leading industry veterans, and exhibitions. This is a must-attend conference for emerging and established supply chain scholars!

Chair and Hosting Institution

The host for the 1st AISCR Annual Conference is the Department of Management and Project Planning, at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. The University of Nairobi a body corporate established by an Act of Parliament Cap 210 of the Laws of Kenya is the pioneer institution of university education in Kenya and the region. The only institution of higher learning in Kenya for a long time, the University responded to the national regional, and African high-level manpower training needs by developing and evolving strong, diversified academic programs and specializations in sciences, applied sciences, technology, humanities, social sciences, and the arts. The university is proud of its distinguished record of achievements in teaching, research, development, and consultancy while strategizing for a greater future as the center of academic, research, and professional excellence. Located on the 6th floor of the University of Nairobi Towers is the state-of-the-art Chandaria Centre for Performing Arts. The facility can hold up to 500 delegates. The venue comes equipped with a public address system, an overhead projector, and a projector screen. The conference facility also includes a lavish and open space on 5th floor, perfect for fine dining. Other add-ons include a furnished VIP holding room, press room, and secretariat room.  There are adequate amenities such as parking and security.
