Mr Sbusiso Mthembu ACMA, CGMA (CIMA)

Sbusiso Mthembu a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA, CGMA) designation holder affiliated with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). A highly experienced individual with a strong background in finance environment such as group financial reporting- IFRS, preparation of annual budget, preparation of monthly forecast, variance analysis, internal controls and Taxation. He has in depth experience in project finance and application different financial models such discounted future cash flow (DFCF), net present value (NPV) and calculation of investment pay-back period in investment projects. My experience has been extended to Supply Chain Management for 5 year period.

He has served in different committees such as tender adjudication committee, Finance, subcommittee of Council, trustee for Billiton Retirement Fund (BRF) and a member of Risk   Audit committee for both Billiton Retirement Fund (BRF) and Billiton Pension Fund (BPF) with extensive understanding of the Financial Services Board Act (FSB) for period of 2 years.

Currently, he is a Vice President Finance / CFO for African Institute for Supply Chain Research (AISCR) responsible for the Institute financial strategy, financial management and budgets.

He has more than 20 years overall experience while 10 years has been at senior management level including board experience. His experience varies in different sectors including in auditing, hospitality& hotels, private equity, mining and education sector.
