Dr. Achuora is a Supply Chain Management lecturer with strong academic and corporate experience of over 17 years. Further, Dr. Achuora is a Supply chain Management specialist and Procurement Systems developer and Analyst, Certified Procurement Practitioner by Kenya Institute of Supplies Management, Certified International Procurement Practitioner by IAPM, licence supplies management practitioner by KISM and a Member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). He holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management, MSc. in Procurement and Logistics Management and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree.  He has mentored a number of graduate students and successfully supervised many PhD and Masters Students. Dr. Achuora is a researcher who has worn several grants and published several authoritative papers in reputable journals in the area of SCM. Currently Dr. Achuora is a lecturer at Machakos University, exam coordinator at Machakos University, external examiner at Management University of Africa, external examiner at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, a reviewer of Global Scientific Journal, and supply chain management advisor to Migori County government. Dr. Achuora is SCM adjunct lecturer at Jomo Kenyatta University of agriculture and Technology and KCA University. He was supply chain Management leader at Detox International Laboratories, Procurement Manager at United States International University- Africa, Assistant Procurement manager at Hyoung and Co. E.A. Ltd, and Procurement officer at Icon Telesec Services Ltd. Dr. Achuora  has just recently attended Procurement Audit and System for Prevention and detection of Fraud and Corruption Training conducted by the International Training Centre (ITC) in Turin, Italy and also developed supply chain management integrated system for the effective distribution of drugs to the patients living with HIV within West Kadem Location, sponsored by Matoso Lalmba Association.
