Instructor
Dr. Mike Manga

Dr. Mike Manga is a global supply chain professional, corporate governance expert, and educator with more than three decades of executive leadership experience across the mining, consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing, investment holdings, and higher education sectors in Africa and internationally. His work focuses on advancing resilient, ethical, and high-performing supply chains through the integration of industry practice, governance insight, and academic engagement.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Manga has held several senior executive leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer of Blue Ribbon Industries Limited, Group Procurement Executive at TA Holdings Limited (now Masawara Holdings), Buying Manager at Unilever South Africa, and Group Logistics Manager at Unilever Zimbabwe. During his tenure with Unilever, he also served on global and regional sourcing teams, contributing to complex international procurement and supplier strategy initiatives. Dr. Manga has also contributed extensively to industry leadership and corporate governance. He has served as Vice President of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries, Chairman of the Grain Millers Association of Zimbabwe, Chairman of the Grocery Manufacturers Association, and as an Independent Non-Executive Director of a Zimbabwe Stock Exchange–listed company.
In addition to his corporate and governance work, Dr. Manga contributes to professional education and knowledge development. He has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Catholic University of Zimbabwe, teaching Business Ethics, Corporate Governance, and Marketing Research, while mentoring postgraduate students and emerging professionals. He has presented at numerous conferences, seminars, and professional forums on supply chain management, corporate governance, and strategic management. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (UK) and a member of the Association for Supply Chain Management (USA). Dr. Manga holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, a Master of Commerce in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance, a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Through his leadership and scholarship, Dr. Manga contributes to advancing professional standards, and institutional development in global supply chain management.
