Professional Academic lecturer for over 15 years of experience in a ranked South African academic institution, University of KwaZulu Natal, teaching and supervising students from diverse social, cultural and international backgrounds. An accomplished enthusiastic professional, who always strives to contribute through scientific research. He conducted extensive research on FMCG industry looking at electronic SCM, information sharing, optimisation, resilience and bullwhip effect. Member of South African Production and Inventory Control Society (SAPICS) and Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM). He served advisory role for Library Advisory Committee, Faculty – Ethics Committee, Moses Kotane Institute (Advisory Council) [Research Opportunities on Bilateral/Multilateral Agreement], [Impact in Transport Sector – Skill Development & SMEs], [Development of and Implementation of the Maritime Agenda 2030]. He has published numerous papers, presented papers in conferences and contributed chapters in some textbooks. He is competent on the content relating to experience economy, green economy and sustainability, logistics and revenue management. He serves the University as Discipline Coordinator and Research & Higher Degrees member. He was inducted in Golden Key International Honour Society.

Established in 2019, the African Institute for Supply Chain Research (AISCR) provides supply chain research, education, outreach, and networking solutions for a better Africa.
