Post AISCR Launch Survey Report
During the launch of AISCR, a survey was conducted to determine the extent to which delegates understand the value proposition of the research institute. The report presents the perceptions of the respondents who completed the questionnaire structured according to the following headings:
1. Industry representation
The launched of the research institute was well attended with about 200 delegates. Among the delegates who attended the launch, the majority were from government or regulatory body (52%), followed by academics in higher education of learning (22%) and thirdly corporate organizations (13%) as reflected in the figure below.
2. General assessment of the launch
With regards to assessment of the launch in line with its organisation, delegates were of the view that it was excellent (63% agreement). The general assessments of the launch as depicted below indicating that the launch was a success and generally accepted.
3. AISCR Value Proposition
The articulation of the value proposition for establishing the research institute was generally accepted and sound (84% excellent) to addressing supply chain management challenges in the continent.
4. Assessment of the speakers
Delegates in attendance were also happy about the quality of presentations at the launch with a rating of 94% for very good to excellent (50% for very good and 43% for excellent).
