Course Facilitator:

Dr Evanson Karanja possesses a PhD in Computer Engineering with a bias in security and Machine learning, A MSc in Computer Science, and a BSc in Computer Sciences He has several industry certifications in information systems, cyber security, organizational management. He has facilitated training in the various areas of cyber systems and organizational transformation. Karanja has practiced in cyber security and currently is an ICT director at a University in Kenya, managing all ICT functions in the four distributed campuses and supporting affiliate colleges globally. His Research interest: Systems Security in supply chain and procurement systems, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence with a goal of creating experiences using knowledge in Systems Security, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence that make the world a better place for all. He has published over 20 papers in peer journals and reputable conference in areas of computing and supervised/ examined PhD and Master’s theses in areas of cyber security, risk, and machine learning.
